Meet Dr. Sayah
Dr. Azin Sayah is dedicated to serving the Big Island community by addressing various surgical needs. Her specialties encompass dentoalveolar surgery, implantology, maxillofacial trauma, and pathology, and her extensive training has also equipped her with expertise in bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, cosmetic surgery, and anesthesia. Dr. Sayah’s approach focuses on easing patient anxiety, offering clear and comprehensive treatment options, and collaborating closely with her team to deliver the most innovative and effective care. Her personal mission is to help patients regain confidence in their smiles by alleviating pain, tension, and discomfort.
Dr. Sayah earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, followed by a one-year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship. She completed her surgical training at the prestigious Christiana Care in Wilmington, DE, where she served as Chief Resident. With her extensive knowledge of head and neck anatomy, Dr. Sayah is passionate about helping patients improve function and comfort. She finds fulfillment in treating a diverse range of cases, from emergency situations to complex, long-term surgical plans.
Originally from Washington, D.C., and raised in a multicultural family, Dr. Sayah brings a unique perspective to her practice. She is thrilled to embrace the rich culture of Hawai’i and is dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally informed care. Outside of work, Dr. Sayah enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing classical piano, hiking, and traveling. A devoted soccer fan, she also hopes to improve her surfing skills as she settles into life on the island.
